Envision this:

You walk into the gym. You sign a new waiver because of course, now there is new liability! You find your spot, lay down your towel, and if it's M/F, your dumbbells too. If you don't bring your own, you take a pair that's left over on our rack.

If it's warm the gym doors are open. You're spaced out. Everyone is following the same routine at the same exact time.

If it's 6am, 915am, or 630pm, there's a camera running because we are also Zooming LIVE for those following at home. That means the music is very low so the mic doesn't pick it up.

You're stationed in a spot where I'm still visible to you.

I'm speaking loud and clear, paying attention mostly to you. People on Zoom understand this, but I check in with them regularly too. It's non-stop for about 50 minutes.

When the workout is over, you take your towel and dumbbells home with you. I take the huge sprayer filled with hospital grade, non-toxic, all-natural cleaner and spray down the entire gym. Just in time to let air dry if there's another class coming in in 15 minutes.

People aren't acting awkward. If they're in the gym it was their choice and they're prepared, but not overly concerned. If you are even remotely under the weather, you will not come to FMU.

We are not putting signs up about staying a certain amount of feet away from each other, or cautioning you to refrain from gathering before and after classes (some gyms are doing this). Enter at your own risk and as an adult, make the choices that feel most comfortable to you. Respect and extend grace to differing behaviors and opinions too.

It is NOT recommended to wear a mask during workouts. In fact, there’s a lot of research about the dangers of it. You are restricting oxygen flow and recycling back your own CO2.

Everyone washes their hands before and after the workout.

If it's really nice, we may even station up so people can follow along from outside. And for bonus work, we'll send you off for a nice 1-mile run after the class while I'm spraying down.

During week 1, we analyze the flow and make sure we are covering our ground. If there's anything we need to tweak, we do. We check in with others that still want to come into the gym. We talk to each other and see if the numbers are within reason. If we need to spread out the classes more because more than 12-15 want in, we evaluate the need.

At the end of every class, I will wipe down the bathrooms with non-toxic wipes.

Before I walk into the gym every day, and before I leave every night, I'll pray over the safety of all those who enter.

By Faith, just like the 'heroes of faith" in the book of Hebrews from the Bible, we enter, workout, and unleash the champions from within again.

We found a top of the line non-toxic, all-natural cleaner, with no harmful chemicals, that kills 99% of germs with the same power as bleach!

It’s created by a company called Force of Nature.

Per doctors recommendations, it’s best to SPRAY surfaces and let air dry vs spreading germs and viruses around with wipes. So after each class, that’s what we’ll do. Equipment, tables, floors, mats, etc.

We’ll allow enough time in between classes to air dry.

We also do not prefer to use chemical-based products b/c of their harmful effects on the human system.

So for some fast surface cleaning, we will use non-toxic, chemical free wipes that are just as powerful too.

-Force of Nature is an appliance that turns tap water, plus a capsule of salt, water, and vinegar into a cleaner and disinfectant. It’s on the EPA’s list of Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.

We actually have to make this every two weeks.
(You don’t see electrolyzed water in stores because HOCl dissipates (think bubbles in soda) after about two weeks. That means it loses its disinfecting power, so you make it fresh at home.)

-Hospital-Grade Sanitizing & Disinfecting
Force of Nature is an EPA-registered disinfectant & sanitizer that kills 99.9% of germs*, even Staph, MRSA, Norovirus, Influenza A, Salmonella, and Listeria when used as directed. It’s on EPA’s list of Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.

Q: Does it kill viruses and bacteria?

A: Yes Force of Nature is an EPA registered disinfectant & sanitizer registered for use in hospitals, ICUs, schools, daycares, veterinary clinics and more. It kills 99.9% of germs including Norovirus, Influenza A, Salmonella, MRSA, Staph & Listeria when used as directed. EPA registration information here.

Q: Does this kill coronavirus?

A: Force of Nature is on the EPA’s list of Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. Force of Nature has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to COVID-19 on hard, non-porous surfaces. Therefore, Force of Nature can be used against COVID-19 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Norovirus on hard non-porous surfaces. Refer to the CDC website for additional information. EPA registration information here.

We also have as a second option Hydrogen Peroxide spray which is approved by CDC and EPA.
